MULOBEZI TOWN COUNCIL - AQUA – CULTURE PROJECT

The main objective of the Aqua – Culture Project was to Scale up the Quality of Municipal Services by enhancing own source Revenue Base. Mulobezi district is rural and underdeveloped with a population of about 45, 326 as at 2022, accessibility to the district is limited due to the bad state of the district road and non-existence of access roads. This has led to an increased cost of living, and unavailability and high cost of food. Therefore, in an effort to increase the revenue base for Mulobezi Town Council, and to reduce the Council’s over-reliance on Government Support, as well as to contribute to the overall food security and nutrition of Mulobezi district, the Council resolved to embark on an Aqua Culture project in 2021/2022.
