In 2015, Zambia committed to implement the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This commitment was reaffirmed in the first Voluntary National Review (VNR) presented at the 2020 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF). Zambia's second VNR has been prepared against the backdrop of multiple crises that affect the country's space towards attainment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its SDGs. It shows the current situation and efforts to gain traction and serves as a springboard for renewed commitment and to explore partnerships to drive recovery and development in key areas to achieve the SDGs.
