2023 ZAMBIA VOLUNTARY NATIONAL REVIEW REPORT LAUNCHED

The  Ministry of Finance and National Planning this morning launched and disseminated Zambia's 2023 Voluntary National Review (VNR) Report at Mulungushi International Conference Centre.

LGAZ was among the key stakeholders who participated in the launch and remains grateful to the Ministry of Finance and National Planning for engaging the Association in the Voluntary National Review process and for recognising local authorities' significant contributions towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and reporting on SDGs.

LGAZ highlighted the major barriers that should be addressed to ensure alignment of Municipal service delivery, local development plans and projects with the National SDGs' framework.
