Chikankata District Integrated Development Plan
The Integrated Development Planning (IDP) process of districts is in line with the provision of the Urban and Regional Planning Act No. 3 of 2015 of the Laws of Zambia and the National Planning Instrument (8NDP) which recognises this approach as a way of implementing national plans at local level. The IDP undertakes participatory approach to economic, sectoral spatial, social institutional, environmental and fiscal strategies to support optimal allocation of scares resources.
