KALULUSHI MUNICIPAL COUNCIL- MULTISECTORAL RESPONSE TO HIV/COVID-19/CHOLERA/GBV/CLIMATE CHANGE

While the Council carries out its mandate of delivering services to the people, the Council is also conscious of the fact that all these functions will be of no benefit if the community is not healthy. The greatest threat to the health of the community comes from the spread of the HIV/AIDS virus, STIs and TB bacterium/COVID-19 Cholera and the effects of Climate Change.. In order to counter this threat, the Council has designed a project that is called: “ISEEDI PROJECT. This project has been aggressively mitigating the impact of the above mentioned communicable diseases in a systematic way. The Council knows the importance of decentralization in the Governance of the country.
